I am from Asia, and I always like to discover how different cultures blended together. Strolling through Lübeck's tidy and slightly uneven stone-paved streets, through the gangs that are not the same, I found Hana Lübeck near St. Aegidien Church. Almost all tables are in front of large glass windows. I tasted Korean-style meals and watched the nearby residents having picnics by the water surrounding Lübeck. I immediately felt a harmony between local residents and tourists. Of course, Hana's food also conveys the warmth and harmony of different cultures. In Korean food settings, I first tasted vegetarian dumplings and Tteok Kkochi, and then a Korea-Chicken that crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with the owner's homemade delicious Onion Cheese powder, mayo dip sauce, and three kinds of Korean kimchi. A bowl of rice absolutely comfort my stomach with satisfaction. The sweet and gentle service, the mocktails and the green tea flavored desserts are all details I love. When I dine at Hana, I love Lübeck even more, and next time I will try Bibimbap.
Not very spicy (as in hot), but spiced to the right amount and very tasty food! Had dumplings for starters, which were crispy and delicious. Their main dish comes with a soup and 3 sides, again, very flavourful. I recommend this restaurant. Also try their cocktail made with Korean alcohol!
The servers were happy to speak in English with me and in German with my friend so we both were happy :)
The lighting and ambience must be good too, because my mother loved the picture my friend took of me here. But I was too involved in the food to notice the lighting. <3
Great atmosphere and foods are really good especially the Korean fried chickens taste very similar to what I tried in Korea! The side dishes are also great but I think the prices for drinks are a bit pricey. Would love to dine here again!
My husband and I have visited the restaurant twice before the corona time. The food was excellent and we spent wonderful evening there. And we tried the To Go during the corona time. It was amazing! The spicy chicken, I ordered, was still tasty when I got home!!
We are looking forward the reopen!!! :D
Korea Fried chicken was very tender. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The 3 side dishes are nice but a bit too salty for me.
Very nice friendly staff and great food
Today I ordered takeaway from HANA and it was delicious!
I had the Korea Chicken Set with chili, which comes with rice and three small sides. The portion size was more than enough for me.
The takeaway menu is a little limited, but I plan to go there to dine in, as soon as they can open again.
It is a typical Korean restaurant, and looks so cool! The food is very delicious and fresh. I love the chicken and Bibimbap.
